Late July, the Iraqi government ordered its forces to carry out a bloody raid of Camp Ashraf, a place of residence for 3,400 opponents of the Iranian regime.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In a press conference today, international law and human rights experts urged President Obama to intervene immediately to save the lives of 36 Ashraf residents taken hostage by the Iraqi forces and end the humanitarian crisis in Camp Ashraf in Iraq.

NCRI - A session in solidarity with 1,000 women in Ashraf and women across Iran was held in Rome, Italy, with a number of Italian parliamentarians and political and cultural figures.
The Association of Democratic Iranian Women in Italy organized the meeting, in which speakers highlighted the legal responsibility of U.S. to reassume protection of Ashraf City in accordance with Article 45 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. They demanded compliance with the article and assumption of protection responsibilities by the US.

NCRI- At a press conference on Thursday in the House of Commons, British lawmakers announced that over 180 British MPs and Peers have written to President Barack Obama urging the US to remove the main Iranian opposition group, the People's Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI/MEK), from the list of foreign terrorist organisations.
