France Dismisses Terror Probe of Iranian Opposition Group .

PARIS—Preliminary charges of terrorism filed eight years ago against members and supporters of an umbrella Iranian opposition group have been dismissed by investigating magistrates looking into the case, French officials said Thursday.

The decision could give a boost to the France-based group, the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and its main branch, the Mujahedin e-Khalq, known as MeK, in their campaign to persuade the U.S. to remove them from the State Department's list of global terrorist organizations.

Chaos and brawl at regime’s parliament leads to its adjournment .

 Due to a brawl between different factions in the regime’s parliament over this year’s budget’ additional line items, the parliament was shut down, State-run Mehr news agency reported on May 8.The news outlet of the Ministry of Intelligence wrote: After the first line item that was related to the Simineh River, was eliminated by the members votes, Mullah Rahmani, yelling and screaming, stood in front of Larijani (head of regime’s parliament) and screamed: “What you just did is treason; I will have blood shed over this.”

Prominent Political Activist, Hany Yazarlu, Arrested

Harana News Agency reported that Intelligence Ministry agents arrested Dr. Hany Yazarlu, a prominent political activist during a raid on his house.  The arrest occurred on 3 April, 2011.

Dr. Yazarlu is a Doctor of medicine and a well known political activist.  He was a political prisoner during the Shah’s rule in Iran.  He also was jailed along with his wife during the 1980s.

Massive money theft, scandals, by Iranian embassy officials in France .

The state-run web site Jahan News reported about the massive swindles by Iranian regime officials at its embassy in France.

Jahan News reported on May 4 that: A year has passed, and yet no one is willing to answer about the money swindling at the Iranian embassy if France. Thus far, neither the embassy nor the ambassador has provided any explanation of the 600,000-euro fraud at the embassy.
